A growing Microsoft Gold Cloud Solutions Provider in Hertfordshire are looking for a driven 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their exceptional team. The business specialises in building solutions for their clients that include cloud, hybrid or on-premise environments. They are an established business that has serviced their clients over a 15 year period, and are now embarking on the next stage of their exciting journey which has created this opportunity.
    The role will offer hybrid working and as some projects will take place on client-site (within Hertfordshire), a full UK driving license is required.
      The successful 2nd Line Support Engineer will have the following attributes:
    • An excellent understanding of Active Directory and Windows 10.
    • Experience supporting VPN's, connectivity and networking tools.
    • Server virtualisation software (preferably Hyper-V).
    • Experience working with remote monitoring and management software (RMM).
    • Strong communication skills, with demonstrated experience working within a customer-facing role.
    • Knowledge of MS Azure AD and MS 365 is highly desirable.
    • Experience working within an IT Solutions Provider / MSP previously is highly desirable.
      As a 2nd Line Support Engineer within a growing business, you will be provided with the training (internal and external) to develop your own expertise. You will be working alongside a small IT team to provide 1st/2nd (and in time, 3rd) Line support to clients in Hertfordshire. The role will be split between working on client-site and at their office in Hertfordshire, with flexibility on remote working available.
