A growing funds/FinTech business in London is looking for a .NET Developer to join their exceptional engineering function. The position reports to the Development Lead, and will be part of a team that is modernising the payments and funds sector, utilising and creating modern technology to build faster platforms. In addition to working on greenfield applications, you will have the opportunity to work on their flagship product that processes $3trillion of investments per year.

The .NET Developer, alongside the engineering team, will be responsible for producing high quality code and features. The business currently operates on a hybrid model (1-2 days a week in the office), but will consider fully remote options for UK-based candidates that could visit the office irregularly. The successful .NET Developer will have the following attributes:

• Strong commercial experience working with C#.
• Experience working with .NET commercially (.NET Core is highly desirable).
• Experience working within an agile development environment.
• Knowledge of SQL and MS SQL Server.
• A good understanding of version control tools (Git/SVN).
• Experience working within a Test Driven Development (TDD environment) is highly desirable.
• Experience working with Web API's.

Desirable experience:

• Experience working on fintech/fund management/financial services products is highly desirable.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure).
• Knowledge of front-end development tools, such as JavaScript and Angular.
• Knowledge of messaging systems, such as Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ.
• An understanding of blockchain technologies, or an interest in blockchain, is highly desirable.
