Absolute IT Recruitment is exclusivity representing a rapidly growing and well-funded Fintech business in West London on their Platform Engineer vacancy. The Platform Engineer will be joining the business as they look to scale their technology team following a successful funding round where the business has secured ~£25million to continue building their exceptional team and products.

The successful Platform Engineer will have the following attributes:

  • 3+ years’ experience supporting cloud (AWS) systems such as API Gateway.
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting SQL Server.
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting Linux.
  • 2+ years’ experience working with ansible, terraform, packer or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Java programming is desirable, though not essential.

The successful Platform Engineer will be joining an exceptional team and will be working closely alongside the Head of Engineering. You will be working within an agile technology function and will be responsible for building and improving the development teams infrastructure and site reliability.
