Absolute IT Recruitment are representing a recognised and growing Fintech business in the West-Midlands to hire a Test Lead to join their growing agile technology team. The office is commutable from Gloucester, Hereford and Worcester; with part-time remote working available (2-3 days WFH per week). The successful Test Lead will be joining an exceptional technology team, working on greenfield applications and supported by a leading testing team.

The successful Test Analyst will have the following attributes:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a Test Lead/Senior Tester role commercially.
  • Experience mentoring/managing test engineers, from technical mentorship to performance reviews (desirable, though not essential).
  • Experience working with manual and automation testing tools (Selenium, Jmeter, Postman, Visual Studio, etc.).
  • Experience working within an agile technology team.
  • Relevant certifications are desirable (ISEB, ISTQB, etc.).

The successful Test Lead will work alongside the internal software development and testing team to implement policies and procedures to ensure best practice. You will be working closely alongside the software development team to create test case acceptance criteria in a TDD/BDD environment. As the business are moving towards an automation-testing model, experience with both manual and automation testing desirable.

The business is currently operating remotely, the Test Lead will however be required to work from their covid-secure office 2-3 days a week when lockdown restrictions ease.
